Ravana was the grandson of Lord Brahma, and son of Rishi Pulastya. Since when is he a sinhalese when Sri Lanka was a part of Vedic India? His elder half-brother was Kubera the Vedic God of Wealth.Ravan was born on mainland of Vedic India & not in Sri Lanka. How is he a sinhalese even? Sinhalese developed much later with the name.
